Required 80's Post!

Sometimes you just gotta listen to some of that classic 80's music and lose yourself in bubblegum glee.

It's all about that bass line, man.  Give me a good driving beat - guitar, drums, keyboard...and I'm hooked.  I've read that that is the definition of Emo music.  If that's the case, then I'm most definitely emo-loving...

MOAR 80s Pop!

Ah, don't even get me started on the hair, the clothes... The day-glo colors!  Guh!  And they keep coming back with more 80's retro styles... Then the weird-ass 90's hipster thing has come around.  Or is that 80's too?  I don't know...

Back to music!

Of course, since YOUTUBE NOW SUCKS!!! I can't find the original video with that classic side-to-side eye movement... ...bastards.

....

Speaking of Glee (see line one)... I just got done catching up with the last two episodes from last season.  After moving in October, I kinda got behind on my few and favorite tv shows...  I'm grateful for the winter breaks, though...it gives me a chance to catch up.

Point is, the Xmas Ep of Glee made me cry (bastards) and I'm glad it's still going strong in the storyline.

Glee + 80's music = GOOD

I'm so glad someone decided to compare the two side-by-side.  Some serious dedication.  I'm glad the rest of the world is finally catching up to the Jane Lynch bandwagon/fan club.  She's been around for decades, people!  Come on!  AND she's a lesbian!  Woot ^_^

BTW, Some 80's stuff just sounds better remixed...a bit more speed, a bit more kick-ass!

If this doesn't get you moving, I don't know what will.

Keep rocking, friends.

  1. Here, I have an hour-long dance mix that has a lot of 80's stuff that is great for working out...

Not sure how long the link will work, or for how many people, but go for it.

  2. Have you seen the documentary about Tiffany's stalkers? The biggest stalker in the movie lives in Santa Cruz. Total freaks. It's called (wait for it) I Think We're Alone Now. I didn't watch it, a friend of mine did, but here's a link to the trailer. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0MxXqF-fgJY
    Crazy stuff!
